Young Guns in the Line of Fire

Georgia Adams will lead her Hampshire side out for a second successive Metro Bank One Day Cup final against The Blaze at the Utilita Bowl tomorrow. The women's game has been transformed out of all recognition since she began playing the sport, but she believes that even greater change could be on the way.

Anuerin Donald will return to the Utilita Bowl with England this evening, three years after leaving Hampshire to head to Derbyshire. As he tells The Hawk, he'll still feel right at home.

Hampshire find themselves handily placed to take the relegation battle to the final week of the season after a bumper day with the bat at Grace Road. But coach Russell Domingo isn't getting carried away after as an incredibly tough campaign draws to a close.

Keith Barker left Hampshire at the end of last season and announced his retirement from the sport last month. Currently working in the Warwickshire pathway and Second XI, he says he's not surprised by Hampshire's struggles in 2026.

It's now three years since academy graduate and England international Mason Crane left Hampshire, during which time he has become one of the country's most reliable spin bowling all-rounders.
