Out of contract, in a final and on the verge of history - Prichard unsure of future as his side prepare for first major final

When the clock ticked over to 2025 to herald a new era for women's domestic cricket, it's safe to say that Paul Prichard wasn't planning to be leading Hampshire into a major final for the first time in the county's history come September.
Charlotte Edwards was in charge of the side, having been appointed in November 2024. At the same time, Georgia Adams was named captain of a newly formed side taking its place alongside seven other fully professional counties.
By April, Edwards had been named as Jon Lewis's successor as the head coach of the England women's team.
And Prichard, the former Essex batter who had been part of the Hampshire coaching set-up since 2022, was handed the role of interim coach for the 2025 season.
