Warwickshire all but confirmed Hampshire's relegation to Division Two with a thumping innings victory at the Utilita Bowl.
After subsiding meekly in the morning session - Ben Brown's side were skittled for 115 - the Bears enforced the follow-on.
And while Hampshire showed resistance at times, most notably during a partnership between Jake Lehmann and Toby Albert, there was only ever going to be one outcome.
Hampshire were eventually bowled out for 154, with their last seven wickets falling for just 49 runs as Warwickshire kept their title hopes alive with a win by an innings and 129 runs.
