Michael Neser spent last weekend ripping through England's wafer-thin batting line-up in the second Ashes Test in Brisbane.

And Hampshire supporters will be hoping for more of the same after the county confirmed he will be heading to the Utilita Bowl for the opening six matches of next season's County Championship.

He will play for Hampshire on an English passport.
