Hampshire's overseas chase is on for 2027, as they look to bounce back from relegation from the top flight for the first time since 2011.
But elsewhere it's more likely to be evolution rather than revolution in the close season.
This season saw Kyle Abbott shoulder the majority of the overseas' burden, with first Michael Neser and then Jayden Seales before forced out of stints with the county.
He has done so incredibly well, with the South African having taken 62 wickets at a cost of just 15.
