Hampshire are set to hand two young bowlers an opportunity in the opening rounds of the Metro Bank One Day Cup.

Nick Gubbins' side reached the final of the tournament in 2025, losing out in a thriller against Worcestershire at Trent Bridge back in September.

The tournament was notable, not just for that run, but the chances it handed the likes of Ben Mayes, Manny Lumsden, Eddie Jack and Andrew Neal - four players who have since gone on to enjoy considerable first team success in both red and white ball cricket.

And now two other young bowlers look set to benefit from the tournament.
