Hampshire's Overseas Plans Sail into Choppy Waters

Hampshire's overseas plans for the final rounds of County Championship matches looked to have been nailed down - now they've been forced into a re-think.

It's not quite 2025 all over again - but it's not too far off.

Last season saw the county operate a revolving door overseas player policy for a variety of reasons across all formats.

Now they look set to welcome another overseas player for the final rounds of the County Championship season, with an international call-up disrupting their plans for the run-in.

Delano Potgieter was whistled up in May on a short-term contract after Liam Dawson's retirement from first class cricket and a South Africa A call-up for Codi Yusuf, who had struggled in the early part of the County Championship season.
