The sun is high, the temperature is in the mid-20s and the cricket season is moving smoothly through the gears, despite the inevitable chicanes placed in its way by a dizzying schedule.
"This weather is incredible," says Ellyse Perry, smiling broadly after arriving on the south coast in the early hours of Tuesday morning. "The weather's so good I've swum in the ocean every day."
