Joe Weatherley broke plenty of records at Edgbaston yesterday but was ultimately powerless to prevent further Finals Day heartbreak for James Vince's side.
The 29-year-old scored 88 not out at Hampshire swept aside Nottinghamshire in the second semi-final.
And then followed that up with a superbly crafted 75 as Hampshire fell an agonising 14 runs short in a pulsating clash against Darren Lehmann's Northants under the lights.
