"We want Hampshire to come here and feel very uncomfortable.....we won't be bringing the boundary in an inch"

Regardless of the outcome of Friday night's match at Chester-le-Street, this quarter-final tie has already generated a great pub quiz question.
"Which counties have only played each other twice in the 23 year history of the T20 Blast?"
It seems extraordinary that Hampshire and Durham have met so little in 20 over cricket since the inaugural competition in 2002, but Ryan Campbell, Durham's Australian coach, has a perfectly rational explanation for this domestic anomaly.
"I can believe it actually, because Durham don't have a great record in T20 cricket and the only time we would have played each other would have been in the knockout stages or at Finals Day," he says.
