Hampshire look to have pulled off a significant piece of business by securing the services of a key man for the next two seasons.
A number of player's futures remain undecided at the Utilita Bowl with contracts with key players set to run out at the end of this season.
But the Hawk understands that at least one homegrown talent looks set to remain at the county until October 2028.
