There were runs aplenty on the opening day of Hampshire Second XI game against Middlesex on the Nursery Ground on Monday, but all eyes will be on a bowler when the hosts declare.

Joe Weatherley made a welcome return to form under sunny skies in West End, scoring 199.

Alastair Orr - fresh from international duty with Scotland - scored 71, while Felix Organ also made it to three figures, falling shortly before the close for 104.

Tomorrow, though, James Fuller will take centre-stage with the ball.
