Hampshire are looking to boost their domestic red ball fortunes by targeting a leading all-rounder for the majority of the 2026 season.

An Aussie Test player, who will be a familiar face to Utilita Bowl regulars, is one of the county's preferred options for next year's red and white ball season.

Hampshire recruited as many as eight overseas players across the County Championship and Vitality T20 last season.

The revolving door in West End hardly helped with consistency.
