With Hampshire missing a head coach and a bowling coach, the county have brought in reinforcements for the players' return this week.

Hampshire are low on numbers.

With a large number of players overseas and having seen both the club's head coach and bowling coach depart during the winter, it will be a quiet return to business on Monday.

But there will be at least one fresh face at the Utilita Bowl.

The Hawk understands that former Middlesex coach Richard Johnson will be joining the county on an interim basis as Hampshire begin the process of bringing in Birrell's replacement.
