Hampshire are on the brink of bringing two new faces to the Utilita Bowl for the 2027 season.

The Hawk understands that deals are being finalised for an opening batter and also an all-rounder following a weekend of speculation on the south coast.

Hampshire beat Kent to all but seal their place in the knockout stages of the T20 Vitality Blast at a sun-baked Utilita Bowl on Sunday afternoon.

But it's hoped that the new arrivals - which could be confirmed as early as this week - will boost their red ball fortunes from next season.
