The clock is ticking down on the closing date for applications for Hampshire's head coach role.
And the Hawk can reveal that the county have had a change of heart on one key element of the job.
Adi Birrell left his role as Hampshire head coach in September after also leading the Southern Brave in this summer's Hundred competition.
The South African was appointed for a single season after coming to an arrangement with the Hyderabad Sunrisers who also own Eastern Cape in the SA20, where Birrell is currently head coach.
