Hampshire have filled one of the three vacant coaching positions at the Utilita Bowl - handing a new two year deal to women's head coach Paul Prichard.

The Hawk understands that Prichard recently put pen to paper on a new deal that will keep him at the club until at least the end of the 2027 season.

The former Essex batter had been handed the role on an interim basis following the departure of Charlotte Edwards back in April.

Edwards left the club to take on the England job and recently led the country to the semi-finals of the Women's World Cup in Sri Lanka and India.
