Hampshire continued their remarkable record in T20 quarter-finals on Friday night, winning an 11th successive last eight tie and completing a 26 run win over Durham at the Riverside.
But they now face a crucial week and must prepare for their County Championship match against Sussex at Hove as well as Finals Day without a key player.
Chris Lynn returned to the Hampshire side for the match in the north east and smashed 51 off just 27 balls in an extraordinary opening partnership of 112 in just 9.2 overs with Toby Albert.
Fellow Aussie, Hilton Cartwright, then came to the party with 61 off 31 balls as Hampshire posted their fourth highest total in T20 cricket of 221 for 8.
