Paul Prichard has hailed the calmness of his Hampshire side following their run chase against Essex on Saturday and is backing the county's young stars to make up for the loss of Hampshire's England contingent for their game against Warwickshire.

Prichard's side successfully chased down the visitors' 265 for eight with two balls to spare to open their One Day Cup campaign with a victory at the Utilita Bowl.

But they will now have to do without Freya Kemp, Lauren Bell, Maia Bouchier, and Linsey Smith for their match against Warwickshire at Edgbaston, as the quartet head to an England training camp.

And he admits that his side may have to play on in their absence for their next group stage game against Durham on 25 April.
