Hampshire closing in on new head coach

Hampshire look set to announce their new head coach by the end of the month.
With the number of potential coaches in the running to take over at the Utilita Bowl being whittled down by director of cricket Giles White over the next two weeks.
Adi Birrell returned to South Africa at the end of the 2025 season, having been at the south coast club since 2019.
He now looks set to return to English cricket as the head coach of the Sunrisers Leeds' women's team in next year's Hundred.
