John Turner has just returned from South Africa, where he has been visiting his family.

His Instagram is awash with photos of amazing scenery and wildlife - incredible sights from the Southern Hemisphere.

In the last few months, though, a glimpse of Turner on the field of play has been as elusive as that of a White Rhino at the Kruger National Park.

Some supporters have expressed disappointment that Turner had suffered such a significant drop off in form that he wasn't part of Hampshire's plans in either white ball or red ball cricket.
