Kyle Abbott will once again lead Hampshire's attack this summer, and he's expecting both Ben Mayes and Manny Lumsden to play key roles as Hampshire begin a new era under Russell Domingo.

Kyle Abbott is backing Ben Mayes and Manny Lumsden to become fixtures in this Hampshire side as they prepare to kick off their Division One campaign against Essex at the Utilita Bowl

And he believes the whole county should celebrate the emergence of two young players who look set to go the distance for club and county.

Both Mayes and Lumsden were standout performers at this winter's Under-19 World Cup in Zimbabwe and Namibia, and the teenage pair could play a key role for Hampshire in red and white ball cricket this summer.
