It's seven years since Hampshire last lifted a 50 over trophy.
That drought may or may not end in the coming weeks, but Hampshire coach, Jimmy Adams, is intent on ensuring that this season's campaign helps to bring through the next generation of talent, including two of the most precocious teenagers in English cricket.
The involvement of so many key white ball players should also ensure that Hampshire go into their last eight tie against Durham in the Vitality Blast battle ready.
"There's a couple of the under-19s guys, in Eddie (Jack) and Ben (Mayes) and we're hoping we can give them some really good opportunities," says Adams.
