Prest Delivering After Winter Working With Former Hampshire Great

Tom Prest has already scored as many half centuries in the opening two matches of the campaign as he managed in the whole of the 2025. He tells The Hawk that this is just the start, after a winter of hard work both at home and abroad.

"Chalk and cheese."

That's the response from Tom Prest when asked on the mood of the Hampshire dressing room following their defeat of Yorkshire at Headingley compared to that at the Utilita Bowl after the county's Division One humbling by Essex on the opening weekend.

Prest himself is similarly chipper after an excellent start to the season with the bat.

The 23-year-old has already notched two half-centuries this summer and has looked assured in both of Hampshire's County Championship matches.
