"I don't know actually, I'm not much of a stats man," says Andrew Neal when he's asked if he knows how many wickets he has taken during Hampshire's run to the play-offs of the Metro Bank One Day Cup.

So we'll tell him.

The former Hertfordshire left-armer - who has only been bowling spin for three seasons having spent the majority of his formative years as a seamer - has taken 12 wickets of them at a cost of just over 30, and with an economy rate of 4.66.

His impact on the Hampshire side has been little short of extraordinary in this summer's competition.
