Talk of the county cricket schedule is as much a part of the modern sporting summer as the sound of leather of willow.
Some counties have already nailed their colours to the mast when it comes to their preference for the future of domestic cricket in both the Championship and the T20 Blast.
But at present, only one thing is certain - the consensus is that there's no consensus.
Hampshire CEO, David Mann, meanwhile, is unequivocal about one thing - in order for the game's traditional format to survive, we need to play less cricket, not more.
