Chris Wood is the cricketing embodiment of the notion that life only gets better with age.
The evidence of that has been everywhere you look so far this week.
Last Friday, Wood was part of the Hampshire team that dismantled the T20 dreams of Durham, on Monday it was announced that he had signed a new contract with the county, and on Tuesday, he was picked up by the Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the SA20 auction.
Oh, and tomorrow he'll lead this Hampshire attack into Finals Day as they go in quest of a fourth title in a competition that he and his team-mates have become synonymous with.
