Solace was in short supply as Glamorgan dismantled Hampshire at the Utilita Bowl earlier this season.
But if there was a chink of light it's that Hampshire's batters were, for the most part, undone by one of their own.
Mason Crane signed a three-year deal with the club in July 2024, after previously joining the Welsh side on a season-long loan.
It's a move that has led to him establishing himself as probably the leading leg-spinner in domestic cricket and, throughout a memorable 2026 season, also turn himself into one of Glamorgan's most dependable sources of lower order runs too.
